WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A
COMPREHENSIVE
EYE EXAM
LOW VISION
This part of your exam will assess how your vision is affecting your daily life. By testing your low vision, we will be able to determine if specific devices or lighting will help improve your day-to-day living.
VISION FIELD TESTING
This test will help uncover any issues with your central vision (used to read, drive, and see pictures or faces) or peripheral vision. These problems can be caused by hidden medical conditions like glaucoma, brain tumors, or other neurological issues.
COLOR VISION
Using a series of colored plates, we are able to test for two types of color vision defects: those that are genetic, and acquired defects that are more severe due to a new medical condition.
DEPTH PERCEPTION
This part of your exam will measure your vision and ability to determine an object’s distance, length, and height. Based on these results, we will be able to better recommend a solution for you.
GLAUCOMA TESTING
We use multiple tests to pinpoint any signs of glaucoma, because your overall health is our top priority. These non-invasive tests will look at all parts of your eyes and locate any issues that may exist.
In addition to determining your prescription, a comprehensive eye exam will account for your whole eye health.
EYE CARE FOR
EACH STAGE OF LIFE
Like the rest of your body, your vision requires different care based on your age. At Full Circle, every service we provide is tailored to you at each phase of your life.
CHILDREN & YOUNG ADULTS
We recommend regular eye exams starting at age three because this is the best time to course-correct potential long-term eye conditions. One eye exam every 1-2 years is ideal for ensuring top-notch performance in school, work, and activities.
ADULTS OVER 40
This is the stage of life when many adults start to experience significant changes or issues in their vision. While this is completely normal, this is usually when new progressive lenses are required. We will make sure to find you the perfect solution, so you are unhindered in your responsibilities at work and home.
SENIOR CITIZENS
Annual eye exams are absolutely essential for catching common issues with the elderly like glaucoma or cataracts. Eye health can change dramatically for seniors, and regular exams at our offices will help ensure you are not held back while enjoying time with your loved ones.
